Stray Dogs is a comic (sorry, graphic novel) by Danijel Zezelj. The story follows a young reporter and is pretty well written, but what makes this book stand out is the artwork. Using nothing but black and white in a high-contrast fashion, I could sit and marvel at the beauty of it for a long, long time. Very impressionistic. Almost grungy (as in the tad overused graphic design trend, not so much like the grungerocky band Nirvana).

The book and its artwork was exhibited at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I picked it up in a local bookstore, but reading it makes me wish I saw the exhibition.
