A new set of goals for mr. Me

I’ve reached a point where I realize that I live a fantastic life. I’ve got a fantastic girlfriend, better friends than you can shake a stick at, an incredibly stimulating job and a lot of fun things lined up on the horizon. Still, I’m restless. I want to do more, learn more, explore more and generally live more. That’s why I’ve come up with a new, highly personal, project. It will be my mission over the coming years. I call it A more creative lifestyle. (I really call it En mer kreativ livsstil, but this is an English blog, so.)

The purposes behind this project are twofold:

  1. To encourage production and documentation of creative stuff.
  2. To fascilitate making a living doing creative things.

In that order. Now, what on earth does that entail? Why do I want to do it?

I want to do number one because my life is at its best when its unpredictable and unconventional. I want to do number two to prove that I am able to make a living of my skills, on my own.

To begin with, I’ve identified a few things that must be done:

  • Travel, so I can see more and gain different point of views.
  • Get even better at my creative skills of choice. (Not to mention choosing what skills I’ll be developing.)
  • Develop projects that deploys my skills and provide a possible source of revenue.

With this post, the Project is on. I expect to be updating this site with more information, and new look and functionality, to better match what I want to do. See you on the flip side.

(I’d like to take a minute to note that this does not mean I want to leave my current job. I love my Good Old and the people there, and intend to combine my position there with these plans for as long as I’m able.)
